Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in revenue cycle management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
In-depth knowledge of medical billing, coding (CPT, ICD-10), payer regulations, and healthcare reimbursement methodologies.
Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and revenue cycle software systems; experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) is a plus.
Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience in an FQHC or similar healthcare setting strongly preferred.
Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the comprehensive revenue cycle process, ensuring every step from registration to collections is optimized.
Develop and implement innovative strategies to enhance revenue capture, minimize denials, and boost cash flow.
Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and payer-specific regulations, including Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial insurance.
Collaborate closely with clinical, IT, and finance teams to streamline workflows and improve data integrity.
Monitor KPIs and provide insightful reports to executive leadership, driving informed decision-making.
Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing RCM team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Act as the primary liaison with third-party payers and external vendors, managing relationships and resolving reimbursement issues.
Oversee audits, manage payer relationships, and spearhead initiatives to address reimbursement challenges.
