About The Position

We are looking for a highly operational, collaborative team player to join our Retail team as our Director, Retail, reporting directly to our GM / SVP of Wholesale & Retail. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of corporate retail leadership experience within an omnichannel consumer brand. Bombas recently opened its first three brick-and-mortar retail stores, marking an exciting new chapter for the brand. As our first dedicated corporate retail leader, this role will play a central part in shaping how Bombas shows up in physical retail — ensuring our stores are operationally strong, brand-right, and meaningfully connected to our mission. Today, our stores are operated in partnership with a third-party operator, and the Director, Retail will both manage the partner relationship and oversee the work of internal teams to ensure expectations are clear, store performance is strong, expansion is supported, and the retail experience remains consistent with the Bombas brand. This is a hands-on player/coach role for someone who enjoys turning strategy into action, establishing strong operating rhythms, building trusted relationships, and helping a new business grow thoughtfully. As Bombas’ retail business continues to grow, this role will grow alongside it, offering the opportunity to have a lasting impact on the brand and the way customers experience Bombas in person.
