About The Position

Direct and oversee project scopes including cost and price assessment and resources required; Oversee projects in the region, from business development to implementation and execution to meet customer requirements; Ensure projects meet on-time delivery expectations, profitability expectations and are executed within the scope of the client’s expectations; Facilitate any deviations with management through ongoing communication to maximize value and minimize costs; Actively participate in the sharing of best practices and organizational skill development; Develop and implement capability in out-of-gauge and oversize transportation; Provide project management services such as management of vendors/suppliers; Coach internal team members to achieve project objectives. Travel required: 20% travel required (15% international and 5% domestic). Minimum Qualifications: The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Project Management or closely related field plus five (5) years of experience in a logistics-related occupation. In lieu of Bachelor’s degree, employer will accept two (2) additional years of experience in a logistics-related occupation. Position requires at least five (5) years of experience in all of the following: Experience with the logistics and transportation industry. Experience with industrial projects specifically with execution and operations. Experience with Material Management activities and oversight. Experience with Mining Industry, suppliers, owners, and EPCs. Experience with loading/unloading project vessel operation. Experience with the truckload industry including equipment types, carrier capabilities, pricing and regulations. Experience with heavy lift and oversized materials. Experience with marine chartering. Experience with large-scale industrial turnkey projects working with multinational engineering firms. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience. Telecommuting allowed for this position. Travel required: 20% travel required (15% international and 5% domestic).
