About The Position

Astera Cancer Care is seeking a motivated candidate for a leadership position as Director of Radiation Oncology Services. This role involves managing the operations of a free-standing radiation oncology center and overseeing practice management for a large private radiation oncology group. The Director will be responsible for collaborating with physicians, hospital administrators, and clinical and operational staff, as well as managing projects from conception to successful implementation. Key aspects include strong knowledge of revenue cycle and coding, oversight of financial aspects such as revenue, compliance, and scheduling of physicians and staff. The position requires strong customer service and operational skills to manage staff in a busy freestanding center, fostering an environment that supports growth and delivers quality service to patients, physicians, and center staff.

Requirements

• Radiation Oncology Clinical experience
• Managerial experience in a healthcare facility
• BA Business Administration
• Strong knowledge of revenue cycle and coding
• Strong customer service and operational skills

Nice To Haves

• MA Public Health or MBA
• RN or RTT license
