The Director of Publicity will report to the VP of Publicity, Direct to Consumer. This member of the publicity team will translate publicity efforts into measurable outcomes including media impressions, social commitment, and brand visibility. This person will lead publicity campaigns from the beginning to the premiere. They will be the main point of contact for entertainment reporters, trade news, external publicists, and talent representatives. They will collaborate closely with the marketing, content, awards, and creative teams. The ideal candidate is good at creating publicity that gets a lot of media coverage and gets people interested. This role requires good teamwork with marketing, awards, talent relations, content strategy, and production staff. It also involves collaborating with external studios, talent agencies, and publicity firms.
