Note: benefits eligibility may be based on employment status, tenure, location, or other factors Classification: exempt/salary Location: Denton, TX facility Schedule: Onsite Monday-Friday Job Summary: The Director, Program Delivery is responsible for leading end-to-end production programs within the warehouse and manufacturing environment. This role ensures on-time delivery, cost control, quality compliance, and operational efficiency for shelter production and related products. The Program Manager coordinates cross-functional teams including production, procurement, logistics, quality, and engineering to meet customer and organizational objectives and holds full or partial P&L responsibility for assigned programs.

Requirements

  • Strong financial acumen and business analysis skills.
  • Knowledge of ERP/MRP and financial reporting systems.
  • Lean / Six Sigma experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to analyze operational and financial data to drive profitability.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 10+ years of experience in manufacturing, warehouse operations, or program management.
  • Direct experience managing budgets and P&L performance.
  • Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional production programs.

  • Experience in modular construction, shelters, or similar manufacturing environments preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead manufacturing programs from planning through final shipment.
  • Develop and manage production schedules aligned with demand forecasts and project timelines.
  • Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of shelter systems and related components.
  • Monitor program KPIs (output, labor efficiency, scrap rates, on-time delivery, etc.).
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation plans to prevent production delays.
  • Own full program-level Profit & Loss (P&L) performance.
  • Develop and manage annual operating budgets for assigned programs.
  • Forecast revenue, direct labor, materials, overhead, and gross margin performance.
  • Analyze cost drivers and implement strategies to improve contribution margin.
  • Monitor cost variances and implement corrective actions to protect profitability.
  • Partner with Finance on monthly close reviews, margin analysis, and financial reporting.
  • Evaluate capital expenditures (CapEx) and ROI for equipment, tooling, and process improvements.
  • Drive pricing input and cost modeling in collaboration with Sales and Executive Leadership.
  • Oversee daily warehouse and production operations to ensure efficient workflow and continuity of operations in a multi-shift environment.
  • Optimize layout, inventory flow, and material handling processes.
  • Ensure accurate inventory control and material availability.
  • Coordinate inbound materials and outbound shipments with logistics teams.
  • Drive Lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Analyze production and financial data to identify bottlenecks and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices.
  • Lead and support production supervisors and warehouse staff.
  • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and performance ownership.
  • Assist with workforce planning and labor cost optimization initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to OSHA and workplace safety regulations.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and corrective action plans.
