About The Position

Zeta is building its mobile capabilities into a core CPaaS (Communications Platform as a Service) vertical as part of a broader shift toward Athena-powered, AI-driven conversational engagement. The Mobile & Conversational Messaging Product Lead will define and scale Zeta’s strategy across SMS, RCS, WhatsApp, and Mobile Push, while leading the buildout of a next-generation Conversational Messaging Platform—natively powered by Athena as the intelligence layer and integrated into Zeta’s unified “one brain” infrastructure and identity spine. This leader operates at the intersection of product strategy, platform development, and go-to-market execution, partnering with Product, Engineering, Activations, Sales, and Marketing to drive both product innovation and enterprise adoption. Positioning CPaaS not as a channel set, but as an intelligent, identity-driven engagement system orchestrated by Athena. Platform Strategy: Define the long term vision for Zeta’s Conversational Messaging Platform, aligning messaging channels, AI capabilities, and enterprise marketing use cases Vertical Leadership: Lead the transformation of mobile messaging into a scalable product vertical within the Vertical Applications team Product Packaging & Monetization: Define how mobile and conversational capabilities are packaged, positioned, and monetized across Zeta's enterprise client base Go-To-Market Strategy: Partner with Sales, Product Marketing, and Customer teams to create repeatable adoption frameworks, vertical use cases, and enterprise deployment models Client & Market Feedback Loop: Work directly with strategic clients and internal teams to translate market demand into roadmap priorities

Requirements

  • 10+ years in Product Management, Platform Strategy, or Product-Led GTM
  • Track record building or scaling messaging, engagement, or martech platforms (CPaaS)
  • Mobile engagement or conversational messaging platforms
  • Martech / Adtech infrastructure or Customer Engagement Platforms (CEP)
  • Messaging infrastructure providers or enterprise SaaS with product-led GTM
  • Platform product development and monetization strategy
  • Messaging protocols and ecosystems: SMS, RCS, WhatsApp, Push
  • Conversational UX and AI-driven engagement models
  • Product-led GTM, enterprise solution positioning, and client adoption frameworks
  • Strong cross-functional leadership across Product, Engineering, and GTM teams
  • Technical fluency: APIs, platform integrations, marketing automation ecosystems

Responsibilities

  • Own the roadmap for Zeta's mobile and conversational messaging capabilities
  • Drive integration across SMS, RCS, WhatsApp, Mobile Push & Athena
  • Align messaging platform capabilities with Athena-powered AI workflows
  • Partner with Product & Engineering to accelerate platform development
  • Collaborate with Activations and Customer teams to drive client adoption
  • Work with Product Marketing and Sales to translate capabilities into market-ready offerings
  • Validate enterprise messaging use cases with strategic clients
  • Identify opportunities for verticalized messaging solutions
  • Support product demos, pilots, and strategic client deployments
