About The Position

Octagos is seeking a Director of Product Marketing to own go-to-market strategy, product positioning, and market activation for its AI-powered, vendor-agnostic cardiac remote monitoring platform. This role is responsible for translating product innovation, clinical performance, and real-world outcomes into clear, compelling narratives that drive demand, enable sales, and support sustained revenue growth. The Director of Product Marketing will serve as the central owner of Octagos’ product story in the market – defining positioning, messaging, launch strategy, and sales enablement across the portfolio. This role sits at the intersection of Product, Clinical, Sales, and Executive leadership and requires strong strategic judgment, healthcare market fluency, and the ability to operationalize product value at scale.

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading product marketing strategy in healthcare SaaS, MedTech, or digital health.
  • Strong expertise in product positioning, GTM execution, and sales enablement for complex enterprise buying cycles.
  • Demonstrated success developing data-driven case studies, ROI narratives, and executive-level product messaging.
  • Experience partnering cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Clinical, and Executive teams.
  • Ability to manage agencies, vendors, and budgets with a strong ROI mindset.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare buying dynamics, HIPAA-compliant marketing, and regulated markets.
  • 8–12 years of progressive marketing experience, with significant depth in product marketing roles.
  • Proficiency with marketing automation and CRM platforms (HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce, Pipedrive).
  • Experience supporting enterprise GTM motions across health systems, IDNs, and physician groups.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20–30% for conferences, customer engagements, and partner meetings.

  • Experience in cardiac remote monitoring, RPM, cardiology solutions, healthcare SaaS, or digital health strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end product positioning and messaging for Octagos.
  • Define and maintain core narratives, value propositions, and proof points by buyer persona.
  • Translate clinical performance, AI accuracy, and operational outcomes into clear, defensible market differentiation.
  • Ensure consistent product messaging across sales, marketing, partnerships, PR, and executive communications.
  • Lead GTM strategy for new products, features, and platform enhancements, from launch planning through field enablement.
  • Partner closely with Product, Clinical, Training, and Engineering teams to deeply understand roadmap priorities, use cases, and customer impact.
  • Directly engage with the Training manager to expand product knowledge.
  • Develop launch frameworks including messaging, packaging narratives, pricing context, sales plays, and rollout plans.
  • Define success metrics for launches and continuously optimize based on market feedback and performance data.
  • Own product marketing enablement for Sales, including pitch decks, product one-pagers, competitive battlecards, FAQs, and objection-handling frameworks.
  • Equip Sales with persona-specific narratives that articulate value across enterprise health systems, IDNs, and physician groups.
  • Partner with revenue leadership to support deal acceleration, strategic account pursuits, and competitive takeaways.
  • Serve as the primary product marketing escalation point for complex deals and competitive scenarios.
  • Lead development of customer proof assets including case studies, clinical outcomes summaries, ROI analyses, and performance benchmarks.
  • Translate real-world deployment data and AI performance metrics into credible, executive-ready marketing materials.
  • Build and scale customer advocacy programs to support referenceability, peer-to-peer selling, and thought leadership.
  • Own competitive intelligence strategy including market analysis, positioning frameworks, and win/loss insights.
  • Continuously assess competitor messaging, product claims, and GTM motions to sharpen Octagos’ differentiation.
  • Serve as the voice of the market internally, bringing buyer insights, objections, and emerging trends into product and leadership discussions.
  • Act as the connective tissue between Product, Clinical, Sales, Marketing, Training, and Executive teams.
  • Influence roadmap prioritization by bringing market, customer, and competitive insight into product planning.
  • Ensure product marketing strategy scales with Octagos’ growth, enterprise expansion, and evolving GTM motions.
