About The Position

We are looking for a Director, Product Management, to manage information flow across departments and ensure each new product meets the needs of its intended audience. As the Director of Product Management, you will play a pivotal role in steering our product development initiatives in line with our strategic business goals. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure rigorous adherence to our product development process and to maintain a roadmap aligned with our long-term business objectives. You must be able to communicate with all areas of the company. You will work with engineering counterparts to define product release requirements. You will work with marketing to refine the go-to-market strategy, helping to establish product positioning, key benefits, and target customers. You will also serve as the internal and external evangelist for your product offering, serving as the subject matter expert for the sales channel and key customers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement product strategies consistent with the Path2Response company vision and business goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and maintain, and own a product roadmap that aligns with business goals.
  • Uphold product development standards (Stage-Gate or Agile), translating requirements into Jira tickets, ensuring process best practices, and driving continuous improvement.
  • Manage product lifecycle from concept to phasing out, ensuring alignment with business goals at every stage.
  • Advocate for the customer, incorporating user feedback and market research into product development.
  • Support sales and marketing with product knowledge and technical expertise.
  • Collaborate with CRO and CFO on product-line financials and revenue forecasting.
  • Develop product pricing structure and policy.
  • Work across teams to develop sales tools and sales training.
  • Provide product-relevant input to the Marketing Director for marketing collateral and website design.
  • Partner with the sales team on key customer calls to assess client needs and assist as needed in the sales process.
  • Keep up to date on best practices and software tools for managing the product development life cycle. Make recommendations to management.
