About The Position

The Director of Product Management will lead curriculum and product strategy for a technology-focused learning organization, translating employer demand, labor market insights, and instructional research into high-quality, scalable educational offerings. This role requires building and guiding a team of Product Managers, ensuring alignment between curriculum, industry standards, and learner outcomes. You will oversee the full product lifecycle—from opportunity discovery through launch, adoption, and scaling—while partnering with cross-functional teams to optimize instructional effectiveness. Success in this role requires strong strategic thinking, operational rigor, and the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders. The position is remote with occasional travel expected and provides the opportunity to have a direct impact on learner success and organizational growth.

Requirements

  • 7+ years leading complex content, curriculum, or program portfolios with ownership over prioritization and lifecycle decisions.
  • 3+ years translating market, employer, and learner needs into scalable educational offerings.
  • Proven expertise in product management, including full product lifecycle oversight from concept to national-scale delivery.
  • Deep understanding of instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE/SAM) and competency-based frameworks.
  • Experience synthesizing complex roadmaps and KPIs into executive-level communications.
  • Ability to leverage labor market data to validate curriculum and product decisions.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in Education, Instructional Design, or Computer Science is preferred.
  • Strategic, proactive, collaborative, and comfortable making independent, data-driven decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with LMS integrations, CRM platforms, and e-learning development tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate, Camtasia) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Own and maintain a multi-year curriculum product roadmap with clear prioritization criteria and documented tradeoffs.
  • Lead end-to-end product lifecycle management, including design, adoption, continuous improvement, and strategic sunsetting of offerings.
  • Supervise and develop a team of Product Managers, ensuring high-quality instructional outputs across technical tracks.
  • Act as a consultant to internal and external stakeholders, translating complex organizational requirements into actionable learning objectives.
  • Collaborate with Delivery, Evaluation, and Product Operations teams to ensure curriculum meets learner outcomes and job placement targets.
  • Establish and track curriculum product KPIs, using data to drive decision-making and improve operational efficiency.
  • Optimize resource allocation, capacity management, and departmental throughput using workforce planning and QA frameworks.
