Director of Product Management – Universal DDI We have an opportunity for a Director of Product Management to join our Product Management team in North America, reporting to our VP, Product Management. In this pivotal role, you will lead our Universal DDI Product Management team. This role is critical in shaping and executing our strategy of managing DNS, DHCP, and IPAM no-matter who the provider is. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong product sense, exceptional leadership skills, and deep experience in cloud platforms, enterprise software, and cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

  • 20+ years of product management experience with at least 5 years leading teams
  • An entrepreneurial approach to balance managing an existing business and launching new products
  • Experience with streamlining onboarding process for new hires and mentoring early-in-career PMs
  • Familiarity with DDI or DNS platforms is valuable, including Microsoft Active Directory, Akamai, Cloudflare, BIND, CoreDNS, etc.
  • Strong understanding of licensing strategies in enterprise software, especially token-based or consumption models
  • Deep experience with SaaS platforms, cloud-native architectures, and enterprise product ecosystems
  • Proven track record delivering complex platform capabilities that serve multiple internal and external products
  • Demonstrated experience in networking and security domains, with an understanding of core technologies, use cases, and industry trends
  • Experience building integrations with public cloud providers (ex. AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, etc.)
  • Ability to drive alignment across multiple stakeholders and lead without authority
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working in a distributed team environment
  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or technical degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Own the UDDI Management & Server product area, setting vision, strategy, and execution across core capabilities and platform integrations
  • Lead and mentor a team of Product Managers, providing coaching, direction, and growth opportunities while fostering a high-performing product organization
  • Drive cross-functional enablement by partnering closely with Professional Services, Support, SMEs, IT, and Product Marketing to ensure teams are equipped for successful delivery and adoption
  • Oversee PM onboarding programs, enabling new Product Managers to ramp quickly and effectively through structured learning, guidance, and process alignment
  • Align with PMO, Product Operations, and TPM teams to ensure consistent planning, prioritization, and execution across the product portfolio
  • Review and refine product communications and documentation, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with product strategy and customer needs
  • Steer licensing and token-related initiatives, partnering with engineering, finance, and operations to deliver scalable and compliant entitlement models
  • Evaluate and prioritize RFEs, IFRs, and RFP responses, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure customer requirements are understood, assessed, and incorporated into product planning
