About The Position

Operates cylinder extrusion presses, which includes loading metal plates into the machine and unloading cylinders produced by the machine Dimensional and visual inspection of cylinders produced Tracks hourly production, makes calculations, and legibly records results May be required to perform other duties as assigned by supervision

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred; or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret document such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods, and able to walk, reach up and reach down.
• Able to lift 35 lbs., and able to swing a dead blow hammer to tighten machine screws
• Accountable for maintaining a safe work environment
• Wear all required PPE associated with the material.
• Ability to speak effectively to co-workers.
