T he TTOPS (Target Transportation Operating Systems) product team sits within SPI and is responsible for the delivery of product outcomes which enable the future transportation operating model. Transportation’s role in Supply Chain is critical as it enables getting inventory into our network (First Mile), moving inventory within our network (Middle Mile), and delivering goods to the Guest (Last Mile). W e’re looking for exceptional people who are proactive, creative, independent, innovative, risk- s avvy and comfortable working in varying degrees of ambiguity Product Teams at Target Corporation are accountable for the delivery of business outcomes enabled through technology and analytic products that are easy to use, easily maintained , and highly reliable . Product teams have one shared backlog that is inclusive of all products , technology, and design work. The Product Director of Domestic Execution is accountable for the product portfolio that powers the movement of inventory across Target’s Global Supply Chain and Logistics (GSCL) network — both inbound and outbound. This role is central to enabling seamless execution by developing and optimizing the technology that supports data foundations, transit time accuracy, inbound scheduling, trailer content services, and yard management . As a strategic and product leader, you will drive initiatives that deliver transformational improvements in supply chain visibility, accuracy, efficiency, and cost optimization . Your work will have a wide-reaching impact, supporting a diverse user base that includes suppliers, carriers, and internal Target teams , leveraging both third-party and custom-built applications . As a Product Director, you will set the overall strategic vision for your product space and product team, are accountable for succeeding against identified business outcomes and metrics, will set and manage the product’s budget and financials, set the short- and long-term product goals, and quarterly Objectives and Key Results (OKRs). You will be accountable for building, coaching, and mentoring a strong team of product manager s while also building a strong tea m culture of progress, transparency, and efficiency across Product teams . You will be responsible to elevate your collective team’s performance by providing insightful, motivating, and constructive feedback to all roles on the team while also working with senior leadership and peers across pyramids to negotiate and remove execution related barriers for your teams. You will drive product discovery with key stakeholders to validate hypotheses and concepts with customers before committing engineering time, as you lead highly complex work across multiple pyramids, with interrelated specialties . You will leverage data and analytics to provide competitive analysis, drive decision making, assess the health and effectiveness of your products and related P&L impacts, and to deliver recommendations to key stakeholders. It will be critical that you possess an understanding of retail or similar areas, relevant technologies and design principles in order to drive innovative and scalable solutions across multiple pyramids within Target.
