About The Position

We are seeking a visionary Director of Product Management, Business Applications to oversee and reimagine the core operational engines of our company: our proprietary user operations and support platform (Tarmac) and our risk and compliance review engine (ROME). Historically, as our business has grown, our operational headcount has had to grow with it. Your mandate is to break this linear scaling. By fundamentally rethinking how these platforms operate and aggressively integrating modern AI and LLM tooling, you will transform them from human-driven workflow tools into highly automated, AI-first systems. Because these tools do not exist in a vacuum, you will also partner closely with the teams driving our Salesforce implementation and our Insertion Order Campaign Management systems. Your goal is to ensure a seamless, intelligent flow of data across our entire business applications ecosystem—from ad sales and campaign execution through to risk review and customer support. You will lead a team of product managers and partner closely with Engineering, Operations, Risk, and Support leadership to build a future where our business can scale exponentially while our operational footprint remains lean.

Requirements

  • Experienced Product Leader: 8-10+ years of product management experience, with at least 3+ years managing and scaling teams of PMs at the Senior Manager or Director level.
  • Domain Expertise: Track record of building complex operational workflows where AI has replaced or reduced human execution. You know how to design human-in-the-loop checkpoints and confidence thresholds that make autonomous workflows trustworthy.
  • Enterprise Integration Experience: Deep understanding of how proprietary tools interact with major enterprise platforms and where AI models sit within that architecture. You've made real build-vs-buy decisions about custom AI capability versus platform-native ML.
  • Applied AI/ML Practitioner: You've shipped AI into production and can point to operational metrics that moved, like cost-per-ticket, review times, or headcount-to-volume ratios. You know where LLMs break, where rules-based systems still win, and how to design guardrails that make AI output safe to act on at scale.
  • Systems Thinker: You think in data flows, model behavior at distribution edges, and failure modes. You've designed agentic workflows in which human review is triggered by exception, and you've instrumented them so problems surface before they compound.
  • Business Acumen: You are highly analytical and comfortable tying product features directly to P&L outcomes and operational efficiency metrics.
  • Prototype-First Mindset: You arrive at engineering partnerships with working artifacts: a workflow scaffold, a decision model, a prompt architecture, not just requirements docs.
  • AI Limitation Judgment: You have earned skepticism about AI capability claims from vendors, internal advocates, and your own models. You design measurement frameworks that surface model drift and false precision before they affect outcomes.
  • Exceptional Communicator: You can align highly diverse stakeholders from deeply technical machine learning engineers to non-technical operational leaders around a shared vision.

Responsibilities

  • Define the AI-First Vision: Own the strategic roadmap for our proprietary Business Applications portfolio. Reimagine the user experience and backend logic to transition from "human-led, software-supported" workflows to "AI-led, human-supervised" workflows.
  • Decouple Headcount from Growth: Identify and execute on high-leverage AI opportunities (such as agentic ticket resolution, automated risk decisioning, LLM-assisted document verification, and predictive routing) to dramatically increase agent efficiency and reduce manual touchpoints.
  • Drive Ecosystem Integration: Work in lockstep with the teams managing our Salesforce ecosystem and our Insertion Order Campaign Management systems. Ensure that proprietary tools and enterprise platforms communicate seamlessly, creating a unified flow from campaign booking and execution to downstream support and compliance reviews.
  • Lead and Develop a Team: Manage, mentor, and grow a team of high-performing Product Managers responsible for specific modules within our operational platforms.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Act as the primary bridge between Product/Engineering and our global Operations, Support, and Risk teams. Deeply understand their pain points and translate them into scalable, AI-driven product solutions.
  • Drive Metrics that Matter: Own the KPIs for internal operational efficiency. Measure success not just by feature adoption, but by tangible reductions in cost-per-ticket, review times, and the overall ratio of operational headcount to business volume.
  • Champion AI Innovation: Stay at the forefront of AI/ML advancements. Evaluate build-vs-buy opportunities for AI tooling and ensure our internal platforms are leveraging the best available technologies.
