Your Future, Fuelled by Innovation Based in Alsip, in the role of Director Procurement North America you will elevate procurement capability across North America, embedding professional standards, strengthening supplier partnerships and delivering sustained business value. This is a highly strategic role with responsibility for defining and executing the regional procurement strategy while aligning closely with global procurement frameworks. Your leadership will be critical to how Nufarm manages risk, ensures supply continuity and drives continuous improvement across operations .

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree (MBA desirable)
• Minimum 8 years' experience in chemical procurement
• Experience working within a multinational, matrix organisation
• Strong understanding of global sourcing, category management and professional purchasing practices
• Proven people leadership capability, with experience leading and developing teams
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems, procurement technologies and business reporting
• Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills
• A continuous improvement mindset and the ability to turn strategy into execution

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the North American procurement strategy in line with global procurement and regional operational objectives
• Drive transformation through creativity, innovation and professional procurement practices
• Oversee all categories of spend, ensuring strong governance, compliance and risk management
• Develop and embed category management and supplier relationship management approaches to maximise value
• Strengthen supply continuity through proactive risk management and full participation in IBP processes
• Build a capable, high-performing procurement organisation through clear role definition and structured development programs
• Leverage spends analytics and procurement data to deliver year-on-year value improvement
• Foster strong, transparent relationships with senior stakeholders across the business
• Champion continuous improvement across systems, processes and ways of working
