Come join the Digital Technology IT Portfolio Management Office (PMO) team and work with a talented group of portfolio strategists responsible for driving – through best-in-class portfolio, product, and program management – enterprise initiatives that enable ServiceNow Sales, Marketing, Services, and Channel businesses with advanced technology and analytics. As a member of the DT PMO team, you will shepherd the delivery of some of the most innovative and cutting-edge strategies, technologies, and products to market. Requirements

  • Demonstrates exceptional judgment in handling highly sensitive information across multiple business contexts.
  • Possesses the ability to synthesize confidential strategic, financial, and operational details into work products while maintaining strict information boundaries.
  • Proven experience guiding teams and influencing stakeholders at an executive level.
  • 15 years of portfolio, product, and program/project experience, including work in a dynamic, cross-functional, and highly technical setting.
  • Strategy, portfolio, product, and program experience in a large (ideally global) enterprise tech or global enterprise setting.
  • Deep understanding of portfolio, product, and program/project management concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Ability to develop and implement functional strategies and policies that support executive stakeholder vision.
  • Experience with capital planning, budget management, and financial reviews for large-scale initiatives.
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with various levels of leadership, departments, and principals.
  • Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, judgements, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, studying AI-influenced insights, or exploring AI’s potential impact on the function or industry.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the portfolio executive and senior leadership to shape DT strategy through proactive counsel on transformative initiatives, organizational change, and enterprise-wide initiatives (e.g., products, transformation programs).
  • Drive strategic alignment across portfolios by translating business objectives into actionable roadmaps, facilitating cross-functional decision-making, and ensuring initiatives advance the company's AI-first transformation as well as APEX and DT strategic priorities.
  • Lead orchestration of mission-critical portfolio initiatives that span organizational boundaries, mobilizing cross-functional teams across PMO and DT to deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Develop executive-grade strategic narratives that synthesize complex technical and business information into clear, actionable executive narratives that drive alignment and decision velocity.
  • Architect portfolio investment strategy in partnership with PMO leadership and business operations, establishing governance frameworks that maximize business value and ROI across the capital planning lifecycle.
  • Provide enterprise-level guidance on resource allocation, capacity planning, and portfolio balancing to ensure strategic initiatives receive appropriate funding and talent alignment.
  • Define and institutionalize portfolio, product, and program management operating models that drive consistency, scalability, and excellence across the organization.
  • Establish governance structures, decision rights, and best practices that enable autonomous execution while maintaining strategic coherence and risk management discipline.
  • Design and operationalize performance measurement systems using OKRs, KPIs, and business metrics that provide leading indicators of strategic progress.
  • Enable data-informed decision-making through executive dashboards, trend analysis, and insights that connect portfolio activities to enterprise outcomes and Customer Zero impact.
  • Anticipate and manage portfolio-level risks, dependencies, and organizational change implications that could derail strategic objectives.
  • Serve as the escalation point for cross-portfolio obstacles, facilitating resolution through stakeholder engagement, trade-off analysis, and executive decision-making.
