About The Position

We are comprised of a freestanding 61-bed facility with short-term psychiatric care for children, adolescents and adults. We also provide partial hospitalization programs for adults. Job Summary: Directs, plans and manages patient services activities, staff and deliverables. Responsible for quality policy setting, implementation and maintenance of quality programs, patient experience and customer service. Conducts quality improvement assessments and implements continuous improvement initiatives to support services that serve as the link between patients and health care providers and coordinate admissions of patients and patient related services. Acts as a liaison between patients, staff, management and the health care organization with a focus on providing patients with quality healthcare service. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned personnel using both professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required

Responsibilities

  • Directs all program activities, deliverables and objectives.
  • Supports program activities to ensure staff properly fields phone calls from patients.
  • Assumes and helps answer escalated and more complex patient questions and assists in problem solving.
  • Provides advocacy services, serves in a liaison role between the patient and health care providers.
  • Leads the programs in quality assessment and improvement initiatives.
  • Reviews and presents statistical information regarding utilization of services and program outcomes.
  • Participates in budget process representing needs and goals of program and maintains oversight accountability for program spending.
  • Facilitates recruitment, training, performance management, supervision, retention and appropriate utilization of staff to promote efficiency and retention.
  • Develops policies and procedures based on department needs and organizational expectations.
  • Ensures that all program policies and procedures are adhered to.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
