About The Position

Madrigal is a biopharmaceutical company focused on delivering novel therapeutics for metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH), a serious liver disease that can progress to cirrhosis, liver failure, need for liver transplantation and premature mortality. Madrigal’s medication, Rezdiffra (resmetirom), is a once-daily, oral, liver-directed THR-β agonist designed to target key underlying causes of MASH. Rezdiffra is the first and only medication approved by both the FDA and European Commission for the treatment of MASH with moderate to advanced fibrosis (F2 to F3). An ongoing Phase 3 outcomes trial is evaluating Rezdiffra for the treatment of compensated MASH cirrhosis (F4c). Our success is driven by our people. Director, Patient Services Analytics Role summary Own the analytics strategy and execution for Patient Services for Rezdiffra. Lead the development of standardized KPIs and dashboards, integrate specialty pharmacy data, and deliver actionable insights to improve speed-to-approval, conversion, adherence, and overall patient experience. Partner closely with Area Reimbursement Managers, Market Access, Trade, and Sales.

Requirements

  • Experience: 12+ years in pharma/biotech analytics or related; significant time in Patient Services/Hub analytics and specialty data.
  • Domain fluency with HUB & specialty pharmacy datasets, case manager / reimbursement workflows (enrollment, BI/PA, fulfillment), plus exposure to trade/specialty distribution data.
  • Executive Communication: Proven track record of dealing with senior stakeholders through high responsiveness, ability to field questions, developing strategically relevant analytical plans, and delivering results in a clear and succinct manner
  • Analytical depth: proven ability to build patient-level analytics, drive predictive analytics, and ultimately translate findings into strategic actions
  • Technical Skills: Fluency in Python and SQL; experience using Databricks; ability to frame, interpret, and synthesize results of advanced analytical techniques
  • BI & data skills: strong hands-on with Power BI/Tableau; demonstrated dashboard lifecycle ownership and training skills
  • Influence in a matrix: track record of leading without authority, managing vendors/resources, and aligning field + hub teams
  • Education: BA/BS required (quantitative, analytics, business, health-related fields); advanced degree a plus

Responsibilities

  • Set the analytics vision & roadmap for Patient Services, aligning metrics to business priorities, standardizing definitions across stakeholders, and simplifying a way to share this information with key stakeholders in an efficient manner
  • Own KPI & dashboard governance: requirements intake, design, validation, deployment, change control, and access management; drive consistency across field, hub vendors, and digital partners
  • Program performance & patient-journey analytics: measure enrollment throughput, benefit investigation/PA cycle times, time-to-fill, conversion, abandonment, and adherence/persistency; identify bottlenecks and recommend interventions
  • Advanced analytics: lead predictive analytics (e.g., adherence risk, likelihood-to-convert) – test and learn from analyses to optimize interventions and Hub operations
  • Data integration: drive requirements for data integration for analytics and self-service BI
  • Vendor & cross-functional leadership: manage analytics/BI resources (including offshore) and hub/SP partners; translate business questions into analyses and/or requirements depending on the downstream use-case
  • Executive storytelling: synthesize insights into clear narratives and recommendations for senior leadership and brand teams
  • Compliance & governance: partner with Legal/Privacy/BE to ensure appropriate handling of sensitive patient data
