We’re looking for a Director, Partner GTM Architect to join our Platforms team and help us unleash the potential of every business. What you’ll own as the Director, Partner GTM Architect Worldpay for Platforms is seeking a dynamic and collaborative commercial and go-to-market strategist. Combining deep payments GTM expertise and exceptional consultative skills, you will design, refine, and execute effective commercial strategies for software-led payments products. You will become a trusted advisor, aligning existing product, marketing, sales, and service operations with innovative strategies that accelerate successful market adoption and growth of software-led payments. The insights you gain, your strategic judgment, and thought leadership will influence product roadmaps, partner activation strategies, and GTM best practices across our segments. The entrepreneurial mindset and passion you bring to this role will reinforce Worldpay for Platforms’ position as the preferred payments partner for software companies globally.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Deep expertise in software-led payments and the embedded payments ecosystem
  • 10+ years of experience developing and executing GTM / commercial strategies and 5+ years leading payments GTM / commercialization within B2B software platforms
  • Proven ability to drive influence across complex organizations
  • Exceptional executive presence and presentation skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and strong bias for action

Responsibilities

  • Develop end‑to‑end commercial strategies for software-led payments, including value propositions, capability roadmaps, and competitive positioning.
  • Advise senior leadership product, commercial, and customer‑experience strategies.
  • Align cross‑functional teams (product, sales, marketing, operations, support) to ensure cohesive commercial execution and a unified merchant experience.
  • Establish joint KPIs, analyze partner performance data, and identify opportunities to improve merchant activation, reduce friction, and accelerate payments growth.
  • Build partner‑specific GTM assets—value props, messaging, pricing, sales plays, and enablement materials—to drive adoption across merchant segments.
  • Define launch criteria, execution timelines, cross‑functional workstreams, and governance to support successful initial launches and long-term scale.
  • Provide market, competitive, and regulatory insights to inform partner strategy and influence Worldpay’s product and GTM roadmaps.
  • Develop and launch a scalable, repeatable payments GTM accelerator
