The Director Participant Engagement leads a field team of office staff, advisers, and/or counselors focused on supporting employees of Empower’s clients in preparing for a successful retirement by helping them to replace the income they earned while working. This is achieved through developing and executing upon goals that align to a growth and marketing strategy designed to maximize plan participation, assets, and the use of Empower Advisory Services and products in an assigned geographic area. This role carries full responsibility for all regional office administrative staff, Retirement Plan Advisors, and Retirement Plan Counselors, encompassing recruitment, training, coaching, development, performance management, and expense management. Extensive relationship building and navigation of prospective accounts are key aspects of the role.
