Operational Excellence Department The Operational Excellence team establishes the systems, governance, and capabilities that enable Vantage to operate at scale across North America with reliability, consistency, and speed. We strengthen the scalability and performance of NA Operations: Solutions Engineering, Design Integration, Mission Critical Operations, and Customer Experience- by partnering with leaders and global functions to execute the Operations Plan of Record, standardize operating models, drive process excellence, enable data-informed decisions, and embed disciplined transformation and continuous improvement. Operational Excellence at Vantage is hands-on and outcome-driven. We combine portfolio governance, systems thinking, operational rigor, and human-centered enablement to reduce friction, increase predictability, and accelerate performance. Our team members lead high-impact initiatives, shape cross-functional execution, and directly influence how Vantage delivers on its growth, operational reliability, and customer commitments. Position Overview This role will be based in Denver, CO. following our flexible work policy (3 days in-office, 2 days flexible). The Director, Organizational Change Enablement ensures that strategic initiatives across North America (NA) Operations are adopted, sustained, and embedded into daily operations, not just delivered. This role defines and leads the NA Operations Enablement strategy in support of the Operations Plan of Record (POR) and annual Operations strategy. Operating at the portfolio level, the Director governs change absorption, readiness, and sequencing to ensure transformation initiatives—particularly enterprise systems and capability deployments—translate into measurable adoption, operating model clarity, and sustained performance. The role applies human-centered design principles to ensure new capabilities align with frontline workflows and operational realities. This role partners closely with Operations PMO, Strategy & Transformation, People & Culture, Service Support, Ops leaders, and Global IT teams to align solution delivery with workforce readiness, behavioral adoption, and operational outcomes.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Organizational Development, Operations, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in organizational change, operational transformation, enterprise system implementation, or related disciplines
  • Demonstrated experience owning adoption outcomes across multiple concurrent strategic initiatives at portfolio level
  • Proven track record leading enterprise-level behavioral and operating model transformation with measurable business impact
  • Experience partnering with PMO, technical delivery teams, and senior Operations leadership in complex, matrixed organizations
  • Experience influencing sequencing, prioritization, and execution decisions based on organizational capacity and readiness risk
  • Demonstrated success leading adoption of new digital, workflow, automation, or data-enabled capabilities within operational environments
  • Skills: Strong executive presence with the ability to influence cross-functional senior leaders and drive alignment across competing priorities
  • Ability to connect adoption strategy to measurable operational and business performance outcomes
  • Deep understanding of change absorption capacity, readiness risk, and portfolio-level transformation dynamics
  • Experience applying human-centered design or design thinking principles to shape adoption strategies and reduce operational friction
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to translate enterprise strategy into scalable, repeatable enablement practices
  • Strong analytical capability to interpret adoption metrics, behavioral signals, and operational performance data
  • Exceptional communication skills across executive, management, and frontline audiences
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with multiple concurrent transformation efforts
  • Travel required is expected to be up to 20%, but may increase over time as business evolves

Responsibilities

  • Enterprise Change & Readiness Strategy Define and own the Operations Enablement strategy supporting execution of its POR and annual strategy Apply and operationalize NA Enablement framework across Operations, partnering with NA Strategy & Transformation to ensure consistent adoption and effective regional execution Embed readiness and adoption planning into initiative design from intake through sustainment, ensuring change is integrated at the point of strategy and delivery Apply human-centered design principles to assess user impact, reduce friction, and optimize adoption pathways across strategic initiatives Define adoption success criteria tied to business outcomes, KPIs, and workforce capability shifts Serve as authority on change capacity, advising leadership on sequencing, risk, and readiness decisions
  • Execution of the Operations Plan of Record (POR) Partner with the Operations PMO to integrate structured change milestones, readiness checkpoints, and adoption metrics into all POR initiatives Influence portfolio sequencing and prioritization based on organizational capacity and adoption risk Provide executive visibility into change saturation, readiness gaps, and risk across the portfolio Embed adoption reporting into POR governance, executive reviews, and strategy checkpoints to ensure delivery and behavioral adoption remain aligned
  • Enablement of the Operations Strategy Partner with OE and Operations leaders and sponsors to translate strategic priorities into structured change roadmaps that drive operating model clarity and measurable behavioral adoption Act as the adoption lead for initiatives tied to scale, reliability, standardization, automation, and advanced digital capabilities, ensuring delivery outcomes translate into sustained operational behavior change Align with functional leaders to ensure role accountability, workflow adjustments, operating rhythms, and leadership expectations support strategic objectives.
  • Adoption-Led Enterprise Initiatives Lead enterprise-wide, adoption-focused transformation initiatives where success depends primarily on behavioral shift, capability uplift, and new ways of working Partner with delivery teams, including Operations PMO and Global CIO, to align solution deployment with structured behavioral adoption strategy Define role impacts, capability requirements, reinforcement mechanisms, and leadership alignment necessary for sustained adoption
  • Partnership with Operations, NA Enablement & Technology Partner with Service Support, Site Operations, and other operational functions to proactively assess readiness, surface change risks, and align sequencing with operational realities Maintain a structured partnership and feedback mechanism with NA Enablement, aligning enterprise framework with Operations-specific execution needs Align with Global CIO teams to ensure operational requirements and frontline adoption considerations are embedded in technology rollouts Collaborate with People & Culture on capability development, leadership enablement, and workforce readiness to transformation priorities
  • Adoption & Sustainability Measurement Define and track enterprise-level readiness and adoption indicators, including but not limited to: Utilization rates of new systems and workflows Role clarity and accountability Reduction in manual work or process variation Decision cycle time improvements Leadership reinforcement and engagement signals Establish feedback loops with Ops leaders to identify friction points and drive rapid course correction Aggregate adoption insights across initiatives to inform enterprise sequencing, portfolio prioritization, and long-term transformation strategy
