About The Position

The Director of Oracle EPM Business Analysis provides enterprise-wide leadership for the strategy, governance, and continuous evolution of MGM Resorts' Oracle EPM ecosystem. This role serves as the primary liaison between FP&A leadership and technical system teams, translating business requirements and planning needs into system design, data models, and reporting solutions. This leadership role serves as the primary strategic partner to FP&A leadership, ensuring that our financial systems ecosystem provides robust analytical capabilities to drive critical business decisions. The Director also leads business-driven process improvement initiatives, drives system testing for new enhancements, and leads training to help teams work more effectively with the system

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Information Systems, Business, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in FP&A, financial systems, or business analysis required
  • Deep expertise in Oracle EPM (EPBCS) with strong knowledge of ERP systems, BI tools, and data warehousing
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with ability to define vision and execute effectively
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including presenting complex concepts to both technical and executive audiences

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in gaming or hospitality is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Act as senior business owner for Oracle EPM, accountable for platform performance, scalability, and value across budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
  • Lead enterprise engagement with Finance, IT, and vendors to align business requirements with technical execution
  • Direct strategy for security, business rules, and platform stability; establish standards for metadata, dimensions, integrations, and reporting
  • Oversee enhancement intake and prioritization, balancing short-term needs with long-term architecture and data integrity
  • Ensure data quality and reliability by governing ETL pipelines, validating data, and resolving issues with FP&A and technical teams
  • Drive reporting, planning improvements, user adoption, and training, including leading UAT/SIT and enabling data-driven decision-making
