About The Position

WHAT YOU WILL ACHIEVE The Director, Oncology Commercial Strategy & Innovation is responsible for working with research, development, marketing and the cross-functional team to drive decision-making for the early-stage, late-stage and business development opportunities in the Oncology pipeline. This role will be responsible for long term vision, commercial assessment, and investment case development for a range of early / late-stage assets, life cycle options and technology platforms. In addition, the role will also be responsible for leading / supporting key strategic initiatives portfolio-wide. HOW YOU WILL ACHIEVE IT The candidate must be a self-starter who is able to multitask in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and support the team through key strategic decisions for Pfizer’s oncology portfolio. This position will be a key interface to Global Marketing, R&D, Medical, Regulatory, PDA, GAV, BD, and all partner functions to facilitate execution of asset plans and support asset progression through governance stage-gates. The candidate will play an important influential leadership role to foster a strong, collaborative partnership culture.

Requirements

  • Applicant must have a bachelor's degree with at least 8+ years of experience.
  • Strong understanding of Oncology landscape and emerging trends.
  • Ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Track record of developing a collaborative culture.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree with at least 7+ years of experience; OR a PhD with 5+ years of experience.
  • Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.

Responsibilities
