About The Position

Requirements

  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the United States.
  • Minimum of five years of clinical nursing experience, including at least three years in a leadership or management role.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and nursing best practices.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in Nursing Administration (e.g., Nurse Executive Certification).
  • Experience working in Assisted Living
  • Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and healthcare management software.
  • Experience in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage nursing staff to maintain high standards and professional conduct.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing policies, procedures, and protocols in compliance with healthcare regulations and accreditation requirements.
  • Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure integrated patient care and effective communication across departments.
  • Oversee staffing, scheduling, and budget management to ensure adequate resources and cost-effective operations.
  • Monitor patient care quality metrics and implement improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
  • Ensure ongoing staff education, training, and professional development opportunities are available and aligned with organizational goals.
  • Manage compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations, including documentation and reporting requirements.
  • Participate in strategic planning and contribute to organizational goals related to nursing services and patient care.
