About The Position

The Director of Training will be responsible for developing and leading a streamlined, effective onboarding program for all Sinceri communities across the country, with a strong focus on employee retention. This role will ensure new team members are welcomed, supported, and fully prepared to succeed in their roles from day one. By standardizing training practices and partnering with community leaders, the Director will foster a consistent, values-driven experience that promotes long-term engagement and satisfaction. Ultimately, this position plays a key role in strengthening workforce stability and enhancing the overall quality of care across all communities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in training and development, with a strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design.
  • Background in senior living or healthcare industry strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional public speaking and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences both in-person and virtually.
  • Proficient in using technology and digital tools; must be computer-savvy with strong skills in Microsoft Office, virtual meeting platforms, and learning management systems.
  • Experience with Relias or similar training platforms required.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and travel as needed.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and build rapport with team members at all levels.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and continuously improve onboarding and training programs to ensure a consistent, high-quality experience across all Sinceri communities.
  • Deliver engaging training sessions in person and virtually, utilizing strong public speaking and presentation skills to educate, motivate, and inspire team members.
  • Travel to communities nationwide as needed to support training efforts, conduct on-site onboarding, and ensure alignment with company standards.
  • Collaborate with leadership, HR, and community teams to assess training needs and develop scalable, retention-focused training solutions.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs using feedback, performance metrics, and retention data, and implement improvements accordingly.
  • Ensure all training materials are compliant with industry regulations and reflect Sinceri's mission, values, and best practices.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a training team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Serve as a strategic partner in initiatives related to employee engagement, satisfaction, and long-term retention.
