About The Position

Performance Home Medical has been a leader in providing quality products and services since 1995. At Performance Home Medical (PHM), our patients come first. Using the latest technology and best clinical support, we help our patients take control of their conditions and live longer and healthier. We are seeking a Director of Technology to join our IT leadership team, providing strategic oversight and technical leadership in support of our existing markets. POSITION SUMMARY: The Director of Technology is a visionary leader responsible for driving digital transformation and operational excellence across the organization. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on leadership to optimize business systems and processes through innovative technology solutions and strategic partnerships with best-in-class third-party providers. As a thought leader, the Director of Technology will align technology initiatives with business objectives, leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) and advanced analytics to enhance decision-making, automate workflows, and deliver scalable, secure, and efficient solutions.

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in technology leadership roles, with proven success in business system optimization and vendor management.
  • Hands-on experience with AI technologies, machine learning, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Expertise in enterprise systems, cloud technologies, and digital transformation strategies.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Valid State Driver’s license in residing state.
  • Read, analyze and interpret business, professional, technical or government documents.
  • Write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
  • Effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers and the public
  • Comprehend and apply principles of advanced calculus, and algebra.
  • Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Expert in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Chrome, Internet Explorer, SharePoint).
  • Expertise in the implementation and optimization of Payroll Platforms.
  • Traveling as needed within region/territory.
  • Have reliable means of transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive technology roadmap aligned with organizational goals.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on emerging technologies, including AI and machine learning applications.
  • Identify and implement technology-driven solutions to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
