St. Augustine Preparatory AcademyMilwaukee, WI

About The Position

Aug Prep is more than a school, it's a community where excellence, faith, and holistic education come together. We’re not only about high standards but also creating a place where people love to grow, learn, and inspire! We currently serve over 2,400 K4-12 students in our ninth year at our South Campus. We are thrilled to launch our North Campus in the 26-27 school year, initially serving about 300 students in grades K4-6 and 9. The Director of Teaching and Learning at Aug Prep is a mission-driven instructional leader focused on ensuring every student experiences rigorous, joyful, and Christ-centered classrooms every day. Leading either K4–5 or 6–12, this role strengthens the core of teaching and learning—driving high-quality curriculum implementation, building teacher capacity through coaching, and using data driven methods to improve student outcomes. Partnering closely with school-level principals and instructional leaders, the Director helps translate vision into excellent classroom practice, ensuring consistency, alignment, and impact across school-levels and campuses. This is an opportunity to directly shape the student experience at scale in a high-performing, faith-filled community committed to excellence for every child. [Important Note: This role supports teaching and learning across Aug Prep, with primary responsibility for either grades K4-5 OR grades 6-12 (opposite the Senior Director’s primary focus). The Director partners closely with the Senior Director of Teaching and Learning to ensure strong alignment and a seamless K4-12 academic experience across both campuses. Candidates should indicate their grade-band preference in their application.]
