About The Position

We are seeking a Director of Talent Acquisition to develop and execute our [solidcore] enterprise-level talent acquisition strategy across headquarters and multiple studio locations. This role requires a strategic leader who excels at building high-performing teams, fostering strong cross-functional partnerships, and driving results in high-volume, growth recruiting environments (1,000+ hires annually). The ideal candidate brings fitness or wellness industry experience and thrives in a fast-paced, multi-unit operation where relationship building and consistent strategic execution are essential to success. This role will be located in our Arlington, VA headquarters and will be required to be in office weekly Monday through Wednesday.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of talent acquisition experience with at least 4 years in a leadership role
  • Proven track record managing high-volume recruiting operations (1,000+ hires annually)
  • Demonstrated experience with multi-unit or multi-location recruiting operations, preferably supporting business expansion or studio growth
  • Hands-on experience implementing or optimizing Workday Recruiting/ATS in a high-volume environment
  • Experience managing external recruitment partners and executive search firms
  • Strong relationship-building skills with ability to influence and partner effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Experience developing and executing talent brand and employer branding strategies
  • Data-driven approach to recruiting with experience building, analyzing and implementing trackable recruiting metrics
  • Ability to work hybrid from our Arlington, VA office location

  • Experience scaling talent acquisition operations during rapid growth periods and new location launches
  • Knowledge of employment law and compliance requirements across multiple jurisdictions

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy to support 1,000+ annual hires across headquarters and multiple new and existing studios while maintaining quality, consistency, and exceptional candidate experience across the full recruitment cycle
  • Design and optimize high-volume recruiting operations, including pipeline management, interview processes, and hiring workflows that balance speed with quality
  • Build, lead, motivate, and mentor a high-performing talent acquisition team capable of managing enterprise-scale recruiting volume and supporting rapid studio growth
  • Cultivate strong relationships with business leaders across headquarters and all studios to understand organizational needs and align talent strategies with business objectives and growth plans
  • Collaborate across the People Team to ensure recruitment and onboarding processes are streamlined and aligned across the whole team
  • Develop and execute a compelling talent brand strategy that positions the company as an employer of choice in the fitness and wellness industry
  • Partner with marketing to create recruitment marketing campaigns, employee value proposition messaging, and social media content that attracts top talent
  • Develop predictive workforce planning strategies in partnership with stakeholders to anticipate growth-related hiring needs, particularly to support new studio openings
  • Drive Workday implementation and ongoing optimization for talent acquisition functions, including ATS configuration, automation, reporting dashboards, and integration with existing HR systems
  • Manage relationships with external executive search firms and recruitment partners, ensuring alignment with company culture and leadership requirements
  • Create and implement innovative, scalable sourcing strategies to attract top talent in competitive markets, including social media recruiting, campus recruiting, and employer branding initiatives
  • Establish robust recruiting metrics and analytics including time-to-fill, quality of hire, cost-per-hire, source effectiveness, and candidate satisfaction
  • Implement recruitment technology and tools to enhance efficiency and candidate experience at scale
