Position Summary: The Director of Supply Chain is responsible for developing a strategic approach to corporate procurement, demand planning, and inventory management. This role has enterprise-wide responsibilities. In this leadership role, the successful candidate will direct the procurement of inventory; assist team members and colleagues with supply chain processes and execution; develop and/or update policies and procedures; and optimize a centralized supply chain program that adds value and efficiency. While this role offers some flexibility for remote work, up to 4 days is required in the corporate office

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree preferred and/or ten (10) years plus of equivalent experience
Excellent written & oral communication and strong relationship building skills required
Detail oriented with solid organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and multi-task
Use of MS Office with a willingness to learn new programs
Willingness and ability to travel periodically
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record, in accordance with company guidelines

Responsibilities

Develop and communicate a supply chain business plan.
Implement long-term goals for the department to promote effectiveness and efficiency
Serve as primary contact for questions, training, policy and procedure interpretation and alignment for all departments related to procurement, demand planning and inventory
Oversee contract development for vendors
Manage current policies, procedures, and programs with a focus on their ability to enhance organizational value and efficiency
Identify and streamline processes that generates cost savings
Other duties as assigned
