About The Position

The overall responsibility of the Director of Supply Chain Systems & Data Integrity is to provide support of the Lawson Supply Chain module and support for the operational functionality of the Acute and Non Acute facilities, including the directing of personnel in corporate data integrity and supply chain systems in the most efficient, effective and timely manner for the facilities in accordance with all facility and corporate policies and procedures, and consistent with the policy on ethical practices. This position will oversee up to 9 associates responsible for input, management and maintenance of Lawson and associated systems. Additionally, this role will oversee production and reporting of monthly supply chain Key Performance Indicators. Office located in downtown Orlando Hybrid Schedule: Monday and Friday remote with Tuesday through Thursday in office

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required in Finance or Business Administration.
  • 5 years Materials Management or Procurement experience in healthcare setting (5 years direct supervision of MMIS related activities).

Responsibilities

  • Manages interaction between GPO and organization as it relates to changes to items, new contracts and the interface between the GPO’s system and the Lawson system.
  • Ensures Team is meeting goals related to MMIS updates and files are moving effectively between Lawson and EPIC.
  • Oversees production of monthly KPIs for the supply chain and timely reporting.
  • Monitors contract compliance for organization and responsible for generating all such reports.
  • Completes analysis of contracts and savings for the system and monitors both the impact and execution.
  • Drives status data collection, reporting at the team level.
  • Documents and analyze business processes using value-added/non-value-added, processing modeling tools, cost time charts, and root cause analysis to continually improve all aspects of the operation in terms of quality, compliance, safety, efficiency, and profitability.
  • Develops policies and procedures for the use of Lawson at the hospitals.
  • Manages the EDI component of Lawson as it relates to system maintenance, daily exceptions and new partner setup/testing. Supports market on boarding of EDI vendors and overall responsibility for meeting system level EDI transmission target of 90% for available spend.
  • Development of best practices surrounding inventory management solutions to be implemented in each market.
  • Constantly reviews the item/vendor masters in the interest of streamlining spend and meeting targets on item master utilization.
  • Manages any rebate/chargeback programs from vendors.
  • Responsible for resolution of procurement issues arising from the hospitals.
  • Central point for non-GPO vendor agreements/contracts.
  • Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.
  • Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
  • ERP active management of Item Master.
  • Knowledge and experience with Supply Chain principles, systems, A/P, contract administration, freight and hospital equipment and supplies.
  • Knowledge and experience in improving efficiencies in materials management, contract negotiation, purchasing, distribution, and supplier management.
  • Knowledge of ERP system tables and a report-writing tool.
  • Expert in Master File Maintenance.
  • Expert related to contract loading into ERP.
