We’re seeking a strategic leader to help productize service across our Distribution business — bringing structure, clarity, and scalability to the services that support our equipment throughout its lifecycle. This role is focused on portfolio strategy and enablement , not day-to-day service operations. It sits at the intersection of Product, Service, Finance, and Sales, helping translate existing service capabilities into clearly defined, competitive, and scalable offerings. This is a hybrid role based out of our corporate headquarters in Milwaukee, WI .

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in service strategy, product management, aftermarket services, or industrial B2B environments.
  • Demonstrated experience designing, scaling, or managing service offerings (e.g., preventative maintenance, SLAs, service contracts, uptime programs).
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to assess markets, evaluate pricing, and build business cases.
  • Financially savvy, with experience supporting pricing decisions and understanding service economics (P&L ownership not required).
  • Comfortable operating without direct authority and leading through influence across cross-functional teams.
  • Able to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, especially in early stages.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with OEM, industrial services, or aftermarket business models are strongly preferred.
  • MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and evolution of a service portfolio strategy , with an initial focus on national service programs, preventative maintenance, SLAs, and outcome-based offerings.
  • Assess the competitive landscape to understand how peer organizations package and deliver service offerings and identify opportunities for differentiation.
  • Translate data, market insight, and customer feedback into clear recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Productize existing service capabilities by defining clear offerings, tiers, value propositions, and pricing frameworks.
  • Partner closely with Product Management to align service offerings with product and solutions, equipment lifecycle considerations, and opportunities to support customer capital asset planning.
  • Work with Service leadership, field teams (including Arbon districts), Sales, Marketing, and Finance to enable consistent go-to-market execution.
  • Establish governance, performance metrics, and reporting to track service product adoption and effectiveness.
  • Support pilots and phased rollouts of new or refined service offerings.
  • Drive change management and communication to support adoption of structured service offerings across the organization.
