The Director of Strategic Programs leads the company’s most critical cross-functional initiatives — the work that spans departments, impacts active projects, and directly affects clients and long-term performance. This role partners closely with executive leadership, operations, and project teams to turn strategic priorities into programs that are clearly defined, well-coordinated, and successfully delivered. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands complex, delivery-driven organizations and can drive execution without adding unnecessary process. Requirements

  • Significant experience leading large, cross-functional programs in construction or similarly complex, project-based environments.
  • Strong understanding of GC operations, project delivery, and field realities.
  • Proven ability to lead through influence and work effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Comfortable operating between strategy and execution — from high-level planning to detailed follow-through.
  • Clear, direct communicator with a bias toward action and results.

Responsibilities

  • Own and lead enterprise-level programs and initiatives that span multiple departments and projects.
  • Translate executive priorities into clear program plans, deliverables, timelines, and accountability.
  • Coordinate work across operations, project teams, preconstruction, finance, IT, and other support functions.
  • Break down silos by aligning teams around shared goals, roles, and decision paths.
  • Serve as the single point of accountability for program progress, risks, and outcomes.
  • Partner with project teams and, when needed, engage directly with clients on initiatives that affect delivery.
  • Establish a practical operating cadence to keep work moving and leadership informed.
  • Identify risks early, surface trade-offs, and drive timely decision-making.
  • Ensure initiatives land in day-to-day operations and deliver measurable value.
