The Director of Solutions and Sales Support leads the creation, validation, and presentation of engineered system concepts by partnering closely with clients, design teams, data analysts, and sales. This role oversees detailed MHE designs, ensures technical accuracy in proposals, and drives presales engineering efforts to support sales growth and customer success. What does Element Logic offer? Responsibilities: Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Client & Project Discovery Travel to client sites to understand operational requirements and future business needs. Review and document existing logistics operations to support solution design and justification. Work with clients to define future state workflow, operational projections, and changes in business requirements. Solution Design & Engineering Oversight Lead the development of conceptual MHE system designs based on data-driven insights and customer objectives. Direct the Data Team to analyze key operational inputs required for system sizing, throughput, and ROI validation. Present conceptual designs internally and to customers, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and feasibility. Perform labor analysis and operational modeling to support design justification. Guide Design Engineers in developing detailed MHE layouts, 2D/3D modeling, system specifications, and engineering documentation. Sales Support & Pre-Sales Engineering Partner closely with the Sales Team to define project scope, clarify customer needs, and build competitive, accurate proposals. Oversee the technical content of proposals, including layouts, equipment lists, operational calculations, and pricing assumptions. Support sales presentations with engineering expertise and customerfacing materials. Ensure alignment between customer requirements, engineering feasibility, and sales commitments. Maintain a deep understanding of emerging MHE technologies, automation trends, and competitive solutions to support sales positioning. Managerial Responsibilities Recruit, hire, train, and develop Solutions Consultants and Sales Support Engineering staff. Provide leadership, coaching, and timely performance evaluations. Oversee team schedules, resource assignment, and workload planning. Foster a collaborative environment between consulting, engineering, and sales teams. Manage employee performance, recognition, and discipline in accordance with company policy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Preferably Engineering degree)
  • Software Skills: Autodesk AutoCAD (2D) (preferred), Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience in data analysis in a logistics or operational engineering context.
  • 10 years of experience in Intralogistics industry and experience supporting sales people, presenting to client (preferably in solutioning)
  • Willingness to travel regularly to customer sites: 30% (international travel potentially)
