About The Position

WarHorse Gaming, LLC is seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Security to lead and oversee security operations across multiple casino properties. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, operational excellence, risk mitigation, and consistent security standards across all locations. The Director of Security will partner closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to protect guests, team members, assets, and company reputation while driving continuous improvement in security programs and emergency preparedness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred (or equivalent professional certifications with experience)
  • Minimum 10 years of casino security experience, including 5 years in progressive leadership/management roles
  • Proven experience leading multi-property or regional security operations
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, internal controls, and casino security operations
  • Demonstrated ability to build, develop, and lead high-performing teams
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office and SharePoint for reporting and documentation
  • Excellent conflict management, communication, and de-escalation skills
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and sound judgment
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Must be able to secure and maintain a Nebraska Gaming License

Responsibilities

  • Lead, direct, and oversee security operations across all WarHorse Gaming properties and corporate offices
  • Ensure full compliance with Nebraska Gaming Commission regulations, internal controls, and company policies
  • Develop and enforce company-wide security strategies, SOPs, post orders, and governance standards
  • Establish KPIs, audits, inspections, and corrective action programs to drive performance and accountability
  • Oversee incident management including emergencies, evacuations, guest injuries, investigations, and business disruptions
  • Lead investigations related to theft, fraud, guest incidents, workplace violence, and property damage with proper documentation and escalation
  • Partner with Surveillance, Compliance, HR, Operations, Facilities, IT, and leadership on access controls and internal security processes
  • Manage department budgets, staffing plans, overtime, equipment, uniforms, and capital requests
  • Select and manage security vendors and service providers
  • Support new construction and expansion projects with security design input
  • Maintain relationships with law enforcement, emergency services, and regulatory partners
  • Oversee OSHA safety initiatives, incident reporting, and hazard prevention
  • Ensure ADA compliance in emergency and evacuation planning
  • Lead risk management and loss prevention strategies
  • Develop multi-property training programs and leadership development for security teams
  • Drive disaster preparedness planning, drills, and emergency response readiness
  • Prepare executive-level reports on trends, costs, compliance, and recommendations
  • Perform other duties as assigned
