About The Position

As the Director of Safety & Security, you will lead all aspects of safety, loss prevention, and emergency preparedness across the resort and residences, ensuring the protection and well-being of our guests, residents and team members. Your collaboration with our senior leadership team will help drive the overall security strategy in line with Auberge and Stanly Ranch standards. You and your team will partner with the Talent & Culture team to lead the effort on workplace safety and accident prevention. Your leadership will be a vital part of the overall guest and resident experience at Stanly Ranch.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive leadership experience in hotel or resort security, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in luxury or hospitality environments, with an understanding of guest expectations for discretion and comfort.
  • In-depth knowledge of national security laws, fire safety codes, and emergency procedures.
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities under pressure.
  • Strong level of integrity, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, CCTV and access control systems, and incident management software.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required by operational needs.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and oversee all security, safety, and loss prevention operations throughout the hotel.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive emergency response, crisis management, and business continuity plans.
  • Ensure full compliance with local security laws, fire safety codes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with local authorities and emergency services to maintain effective communication and rapid response capabilities.
  • Oversee workplace safety program in partnership with Talent & Culture Department.
  • Provide triage services in Security Department for work related injuries in partnership with designated third party.
  • Maintain OSHA logs in accordance with federal and state standards.
  • Monitor and evaluate risk management programs, security systems, and incident reporting to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Oversee the maintenance and performance of security technologies, including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
  • Support the resort's leadership team in strategic planning, safety awareness initiatives, and staff training programs.
  • Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion at all times.
  • Recruit and train new team members to the Security Department.
  • Demonstrate all aspects of the ENRICH Values in every interaction.
