About The Position

The Director of Product Management, Security and Access, will lead a team responsible for the vision, strategy, and roadmap for a portfolio of security, access, and connectivity products, including SASE, ZTNA, cryptography, and SSL VPN capabilities. This leader will partner across product, engineering, and business teams to define product direction, assess market needs, and drive execution across the portfolio. Success in this role requires deep security technology expertise, strong market awareness, and the ability to translate customer needs and competitive dynamics into a compelling product strategy. The role includes both short term and long term planning, including one and five year forecasts, and shaping product positioning to ensure ongoing growth and competitive wins. This is a highly collaborative, high visibility leadership role requiring exceptional communication skills, analytical depth, and the ability to influence without direct authority.

Requirements

Strong customer orientation and ability to convert insights into product direction
Experience leading product strategy for security products such as WAF, SASE, ZTNA, and cryptography
Ability to analyze complex business and market challenges with sound judgment
Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify technical concepts
Ability to influence across diverse stakeholder groups without direct authority
Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast paced environment
Strong leadership, collaboration, and persuasion skills
Flexible, self motivated, and execution focused
Bachelor's degree required
Five plus years of product management leadership experience, or equivalent
Expertise in Excel based financial and business modeling
Skilled in building compelling narratives through PowerPoint or written documents
Experience conducting structured interviews and customer research

Responsibilities

Lead strategic planning and product direction for security and access offerings
Manage, mentor, and develop the product management team
Lead large scale cross functional initiatives to solve complex product and market challenges
Analyze industry trends, competitive intelligence, financial models, and customer insights to guide product strategy
Deliver clear, compelling recommendations and presentations to executive leadership
Collaborate with engineering, marketing, services, sales, and customers to ensure roadmap alignment and execution
Build strong relationships with customers, partners, analysts, and industry stakeholders
Facilitate planning workshops and alignment sessions to drive measurable outcomes
Support development of product vision, pricing, packaging, and go to market strategies
Identify opportunities for new product capabilities, innovation, or partnerships
Influence key decisions across the organization and ensure follow through on strategic initiatives
