About The Position

Summary: TS Conductor is a fast-growing company focused on transforming the electric grid on a global basis with their innovative product. The Director of Sales role is responsible for articulating and demonstrating the unique value proposition of the TS product to customers to obtain revenue growth through effective value-based selling techniques. The role requires the ability to strategize, mentor, and collaborate with internal sales support as well with external sales agents and brand reps., to achieve revenue growth goals. The position’s responsibility will include a combination of sales, business development, and strategic planning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in sales roles in the utility industry, specifically transmission or distribution of PowerGrid.
  • Strong understanding of value selling methodologies and techniques.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, proven success in coaching and developing others.
  • Strong understanding of the sales process, including lead generation, qualification, and closing.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in sales and CRM software tools.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Results-driven and customer-focused approach to achieving revenue targets and business objectives.
  • Ability to travel frequently domestically and internationally. Anticipated travel is 50%+
  • Hands-on and self-motivated work ethic.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • Ability to maintain a professional, positive attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Execute the company's commercial strategy to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive value selling strategy that aligns with the company's sales goals and objectives.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets to increase the company's market share.
  • Develop a sales pipeline to track potential customers. Prepare and present identified potential leads or prospects, activity reports, initial contacts, proposals and pending negotiations, closed deal list, follow-up / relationship building list, revenue generated list.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with other executive team members to align commercial strategies with overall company objectives.
  • Create customized value-based sales presentations, proposals, and demonstrations.
  • Provide weekly updates on regular sales reports and forecasts to the management team.
  • Provide performance reports and analysis to the CEO and the board of directors.
  • Organize, attend, and present at industry events and trade shows.
  • Coach and motivate internal and external sales support to effectively communicate the value of our product to potential customers to ensure consistent messaging of value proposition.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
