About The Position

First Stop Health is seeking an experienced, innovative and detail-oriented Director of Sales who will expand our pipeline of prospects, qualify decision makers, introduce our products and services, and close business. This individual will be enthusiastic, driven, highly motivated, and is as excited as we are about improving the way people get medical care. This person will have at least 2 years of experience in the Employee Benefit space including an existing network of contacts with Employee Benefits brokers. If you enjoy developing new opportunities and closing business and have succeeded in enterprise sales in healthcare or similar industries, you could be a perfect fit at First Stop Health. We are looking for someone who is ready to hit the ground running in initiating and closing leads in your specified territory and is excited about improving the way people get medical care.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Several years of experience in B2B/enterprise sales with demonstrated success
  • 2-4 years of experience in Employee Benefits, partnering with brokers and consultants within the health and wellbeing sector – ideally in telehealth or supplementary benefits preferred
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, quantitative and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently in a deadline-oriented environment
  • Advanced level computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience using Salesforce.com or other similar CRM tools to track sales activity
  • Must be detail- and process- oriented and scrupulously use our tools

Responsibilities

  • Leverage your existing network of brokers to schedule meetings, introduce First Stop Health to brokers and ultimately expand our reach in the employee benefits space through sales to their clients
  • Actively build and expand the front end of the sales funnel through targeted prospecting and lead generation
  • Educate brokers on the benefits of telemedicine and evangelize the First Stop Health model
  • Deliver your quota of new business
  • Proactively use our CRM to record events in the sales process, isolate and replicate the predictable milestones of the sales process, and recommend new approaches
  • Stay informed on related industry trends, news stories and competitive landscape
  • Maintain and improve processes by following standards, policies and procedures, as well as recommending new approaches
