About The Position

The Director of Business Development serve as a primary point-of-contact with our clients to promote WCC’s value and expertise in the origination and servicing of direct consumer loans. The main objective is to develop and maintain long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with clients that produce loans on a regular basis. WCC seeks individuals with good communication skills and the ability to move decision-makers to a positive outcome. Duties will require the consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance to the organization. The position reports directly to the Vice President and will collaborate with individuals and departments across the enterprise. Specific job responsibilities include: Source and enroll new Partners Negotiate Partner Agreements and coordinate Partner’s program launch Facilitate onboarding and due diligence of Partners with Vendor Management Manage Partner relationships to promote loan generation Work with management team to develop and implement growth strategies Promote an environment of cooperation and accountability among all departments of the company Provide input for marketing campaigns and initiatives Represent WCC in the marketplace with professionalism and integrity

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and sales skills and ability to interact professionally with partners, vendors and all levels of employees and management.
  • Ability to build strong rapport with leadership, managers, and employees of Partners both in-person and via telephone and email.
  • Patience and dedication to building morale for all team members
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced goal-oriented environment
  • Exceptional personal discipline and time management
  • Adaptability to new processes and systems
  • Proficiency with computer applications such as Outlook and Excel
  • Extensive Sales and Marketing experience
  • Proven performance in a management and decision-making role
  • Prior Loan Underwriting experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or commensurate experience within the industry
