About The Position

The Director, Sales – North America is a critical commercial leader responsible for driving profitable revenue growth for Flexpipe across the U.S. and Canada—directly supporting Mattr’s broader strategic objectives for market expansion and operational excellence. Reporting to the VP/GM Flexpipe, this role shapes and executes the regional sales strategy, ensuring disciplined pricing, strong margin performance, and effective resource deployment. The Director leads Sales Managers and the Sales Support Manager, while also influencing Account Managers, Project Coordinators, and customer‑facing teams to deliver consistent, high‑quality customer experiences. By partnering closely with Operations, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and other Mattr functions, the Director ensures market competitiveness, strengthens customer trust, and enables Flexpipe—and Mattr—to achieve revenue and profitability targets across all North American segments.

Requirements

  • 10+ years leading sales teams with proven revenue and profitability success.
  • Experience in North American pipeline, oil & gas or industrial infrastructure sectors.
  • Public‑company or matrixed‑organization experience.
  • OEM experience, plus launching differentiated technologies requiring value‑based selling.
  • Strong financial acumen related to pricing, deal economics and P&L drivers.
  • Valid driver’s license and frequent North American travel; occasional international travel.
  • 1–2 years in pipe, valve and fitting, polymer or composite segments preferred; 3–5 years in manufacturing required.
