About The Position

WoodSpring Suites is seeking a Director of Sales to support the hotel’s revenue growth. This part-time role is ideal for a sales professional who thrives on building relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving extended stay occupancy.

Requirements

  • Previous hotel sales experience preferred, ideally in extended stay, select service, or limited service hotels
  • Strong understanding of local market sales, business development, and account management
  • Proven ability to generate leads and close business
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated with strong time management and organizational abilities
  • Comfortable working independently in a part-time, flexible schedule role
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and hotel sales/reporting systems preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required for outside sales calls

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a local sales strategy to drive occupancy and revenue for the hotel
  • Identify, solicit, and maintain relationships with key local accounts and business partners
  • Conduct outside sales calls, networking, and prospecting to secure extended stay business
  • Maintain and grow existing accounts through regular follow-up and relationship management
  • Track sales activity, lead generation, and production through reports and CRM tools as required
  • Collaborate with Corporate Sales team to forecast demand and identify opportunities to maximize occupancy
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify opportunities
