The Director of SIOP is a strategic leader responsible for driving the Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning process to align demand, supply, and financial objectives. This role ensures the company delivers on customer commitments while optimizing resources, mitigating risks, and achieving revenue, margin, and working capital goals. Acting as a key business partner across the Access segment, the Director leads reviews, enables data-driven decision-making, and champions continuous improvement of SIOP processes, systems, and metrics. YOUR IMPACT Participate in the Review meetings, presenting a comprehensive SIOP package that highlights key risks, opportunities, and recommended mitigation strategies (in the absence of Sr. Director of Planning). Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, ensuring alignment across supply, demand, and financial outlooks. Champion the integration of SIOP with strategic business planning, ensuring long-term scalability and resilience of the supply chain. Direct the development of assembly line rates and capacity models across all global facilities, balancing demand signals with operational capabilities. Partner with Demand Planning to reconcile demand with available supply, ensuring transparency in trade-offs and prioritization decisions. Drive ongoing improvements to SIOP processes, tools, and governance frameworks to enhance visibility, agility, and accuracy. Implement best-in-class planning practices, leveraging advanced analytics, scenario modeling, and digital planning tools. Develop and maintain SIOP performance metrics, dashboards, and KPIs, ensuring alignment with company objectives. Facilitate “what-if” scenario planning to evaluate risks, opportunities, and contingency strategies. Act as a bridge between commercial and operational teams, ensuring that decisions balance customer needs, supply chain capabilities, and financial targets. Oversee the monthly supply planning cycle, ensuring timely, accurate development of supply, inventory, and revenue plans. Direct the execution of supply plans into ERP/MRP systems, enabling accurate master scheduling and availability for Sales. Monitor supply chain performance, identifying gaps and driving corrective action plans to meet sales, inventory, and financial commitments.
