About The Position

The Director of Sales and Admissions at Washington Healthcare is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with referral sources and educating them on facility services. This vital role involves managing and coordinating the admission process for new residents, requiring a blend of healthcare knowledge, sales and marketing acumen, administrative skills, and compassionate communication. Requirements

  • BACHELOR’S DEGREE OR THREE YEARS EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE IN LIEU OF A DEGREE
  • STRONG PASSION FOR GERIATRIC ADVOCACY AND COMMITMENT TO SENIOR CARE EXCELLENCE

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources and educate them on facility services
  • Manage and coordinate the process of admitting new residents
  • Identify customer needs and promote products and services to meet or exceed sales goals
  • Build mutually beneficial client relationships and manage the sales pipeline
  • Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents, prospective residents, and loved ones
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with the facility team and customers
  • Work closely with referral sources, nursing, administrative, and social services departments
  • Work towards a common goal of excellent care for residents
  • Ensure admission practices comply with federal and state regulations
  • Maintain accurate and complete records as required by facility policy and regulations
