About The Position

The Director of Sales and Admissions will develop and maintain relationships with referral sources and educate those sources on facility services. This position plays a vital role in managing and coordinating the process of admitting new residents and involves a mix of healthcare knowledge, sales and marketing, administrative skills, and compassionate communication. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or three years equivalent experience in lieu of a degree
  • Strong passion for geriatric advocacy and commitment to senior care excellence
  • Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to our residents, family members, customers and staff (Compassion, Accountability, Relationships and Excellence)

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care processes preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources
  • Educate referral sources on facility services
  • Manage and coordinate the process of admitting new residents
  • Identify customer needs
  • Promote products and services to meet or exceed sales goals
  • Build mutually beneficial client relationships
  • Manage sales pipeline
  • Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents and prospective residents and loved ones
  • Ensure clear, effective communication with facility team and customers
  • Work closely with referral sources, nursing, administrative and social services departments
  • Work towards a common goal of excellent care for residents
  • Ensure admission practices comply with federal and state regulations
  • Maintain accurate and complete records as required by facility policy and regulations
