We are seeking a Director of Sales, Airports & Borders role to lead the Sales and Account Management areas of the Airports and Borders team in the Americas at Amadeus. In this high-profile role, you’ll collaborate with airports, airlines, and government stakeholders to implement Amadeus’s advanced solutions that keep the global air transport ecosystem connected and running efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong business acumen and will be a strategic thinker who understands the aviation and technology landscape. In this role you’ll: Be proficient with functional and industry knowledge in Airports, Borders and/or Airlines IT, recognized as an expert in own area within the organization. Serve as an advisor, coordinate and guide others in resolving complex issues with implications on cross functional business processes and outcomes. Understand the Airports and/or Borders industry drivers, uses financial indicators to measure performance and effectively drives business decisions; recommends solutions/best practices and strategies in own area. Contribute with the planning and organization of an area and to large scale decision-making processes. Work independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations. Provide leadership and direction to other Managers and contributes to a culture of innovation.
