About The Position

As Director of Safety & Training, you will provide strategic and operational leadership for safety, health, and workforce training to employees across ISO Services. You will be responsible for developing, implementing and continuously improving safety programs, training systems, and compliance processes that protect employees, contractors, customers, and the organization while supporting safe, efficient field operations. In this role, you will partner closely with Operations, Field Leadership, HR, Corporate Safety, and Risk Management to drive a strong safety culture, reduce risk, and improve training and performance outcomes across multiple sites.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Engineering, or other related field
  • 8+ years progressive multi-site safety leadership in construction, industrial services, or similar field-based environment
  • Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry best practices
  • Experience with incident management systems (Odyssey or similar)
  • Proficiency with Procore for safety documentation and project-based training records
  • CSP, ASP, CHST, or similar safety certification
  • Extensive knowledge of OSHA and environmental compliance requirements
  • Extensive experience managing training programs using LMS platforms (Vector preferred)
  • Proficiency in technology and equipment used in safety and environmental inspections
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong leadership skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead ISO Services' safety strategy, culture, and performance to drive continuous improvement in safety across all projects and locations
  • Monitor the company's health and safety standards to ensure compliance with OSHA and applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and guidelines
  • Develop and implement programs and policies for monitoring and preventing non-compliances and workplace injuries
  • Coordinate all EH&S required and proactive training with training team
  • Oversee incident reporting, investigations, and determination of corrective actions/ preventative measures following incidents/near misses using Odyssey (or similar) software
  • Influence operational decisions related to work methods, controls, and risk mitigation
  • Manage safety metrics, reporting, audits, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Provide guidance to leadership regarding health, safety, and environmental-related issues
  • Maintain working knowledge of new industry developments and government regulations
  • Support harmonization between sites relative to OSHA compliance programs
