About The Position

The Director of Respiratory Therapy oversees the operations of the Respiratory Therapy, EEG, EKG departments, and Sleep Lab, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. This role is responsible for driving clinical excellence, patient and staff satisfaction, financial performance, and departmental growth. The Director leads initiatives to improve service delivery, collaborates with hospital leadership on strategic planning, and ensures regulatory and accreditation compliance. Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned. Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • State of Florida licensed Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
  • Credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) as an RRT
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification
  • Minimum five (5) years of Respiratory Therapist experience
  • Minimum of three (3) years experience directly supervising employees
