About The Position

Responsibilities Performs all aspects of Respiratory Care independently, delivering safe, accurate, and effective care to patients of all ages. Ensures procedures are completed in compliance with MMH policies, patient identification protocols, and HIPAA regulations, protecting patient safety and confidentiality. Communicates clearly and professionally with patients, families, and care teams to promote understanding and enhance the patient experience. Assesses clinical situations, identifies appropriate interventions, and resolves problems efficiently to support optimal patient outcomes. Oversees daily operations of the respiratory care team, including monitoring performance, providing real-time feedback, and conducting performance evaluations. Fosters a collaborative, high-performing team environment focused on delivering exceptional patient care and achieving departmental goals. Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned. Requirements

High School Diploma/GED
Associate’s degree
State of Florida licensed Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) as an RRT
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification
Minimum of three (3) years of clinical respiratory therapy experience

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s Degree
Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a healthcare setting
