About The Position

Three Rivers Midlands is seeking a dynamic & talented Director of Residential Services Three Rivers Midlands is a comprehensive behavioral health facility treating children and adolescents through residential and Rehabilitative Behavioral Health Services (RBH). We treat males and females ages 11-18 for a wide spectrum of psychiatric issues, addictive behaviors, and chemical dependency related illnesses. This is a Full Time position with varied hours. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in health related field, education, recreation, psychology or social services with (3) three years of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees the day to day operation of the residential milieu
  • Responsible for the supervision of Program Manager, Dorm Leaders, and Mental Health Technicians
  • Responsible for overall compliance with CIA – unit schedule, active treatment, staffing, medical record documentation
  • Implement and monitor phase system
  • Review and address resident/guardian communications as necessary
  • Review daily incident reports submitted by staff to ensure properly written reports are received timely and provide feedback to the immediate supervisors as appropriate.
  • Assist Director of Risk Management/PI with incident investigation
  • Follow up on grievances and complaints related to residential services
  • Ensure policies and procedures are developed and implemented in compliance with company, facility, state and other regulatory agencies.
  • Facilitate communication with other treatment staff regarding resident behavior and treatment progress.
  • Collect, analyze, and report residential data at Quality Council and PI meetings
  • Participate in treatment teams as needed
  • Work collaboratively with DCS and RT to create clinical programming for residents
  • Assist DBD with marketing/business development
  • Manage special programs/activities for resident engagement
  • CPI trainer Certification
  • NEO trainer (Managing Patient Aggression and others)
  • Other duties as assigned
