About The Position

The Lodge at Natchez Trace is seeking a high-energy, creative, and outgoing Director of Resident Programming & Life Enrichment to lead engaging, meaningful experiences for our Assisted Living and Memory Care residents. This is a highly visible, hands-on role for someone who loves connecting with people, planning fun experiences, and being right in the middle of community life from daily activities and clubs to outings, celebrations, and special events. The Director of Resident Programming & Life Enrichment is responsible for designing and delivering a comprehensive resident engagement program that supports social connection, cognitive stimulation, emotional well-being, and overall quality of life. This role works collaboratively with leadership, Sales & Marketing, and care teams to create a vibrant, engaging community culture.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in Assisted Living and/or Memory Care
  • At least 1 year of Alzheimer’s and dementia work experience
  • Experience with resident transportation and activity outings
  • Experience creating or managing social media posts for activities or events
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Energetic, outgoing, organized, and compassionate personality
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage monthly activity calendars and daily engagement schedules for Assisted Living and Memory Care
  • Create individualized engagement opportunities based on resident preferences, life experiences, and interests
  • Lead and participate in group and one-on-one activities that promote cognitive, physical, and social wellness
  • Coordinate and provide transportation for residents to scheduled outings, lunches, shopping trips, appointments, and community events
  • Plan and participate in off-site outings and excursions in accordance with safety policies
  • Plan and execute special events, celebrations, and community-wide programs
  • Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing Director and leadership team on events and resident initiatives
  • Create and manage social media content highlighting resident activities, events, and community life
  • Facilitate and maintain resident life journals and engagement documentation
  • Ensure programming aligns with best practices for Alzheimer’s and dementia care
  • Maintain compliance with all community policies, procedures, and safety standards
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
